TRAINING

Foundation Courses :
These are intended for pre-university children and students and those who have completed dance course and need practice and advanced training. These evening courses are of the duration of seven years. Certificates awarded are :

1) “Prarambhika” after four years
2) “Kovida” after seven years.

Styles:
i) Bharata Natyam
ii) Odissi
iii) Mohini Attam
iv) Kathak

3) “Parangata” 2 years Advance Diploma in Bharata Natyam.
       Eligibility : X th (S.S.C.) or any equivalent examination
                       and
                       Training upto Satisvaram
4) Certificate in Dance Theory (For teachers of all dance styles).
        Eligibility : XII th (H.S.C.) or any equivalent examination
                       and
                       Experience as a teacher for 5 years.

5) Diploma in Indian Art by Correspondence
